Scott’s Spark 710 is fast and smooth thanks to a stiff, lightweight HMF carbon frame and 27.5-inch wheels. Its tapered head tube and 148 x 12mm rear axle boost control and stiffness, allowing you to carve turns with pinpoint precision. Rally through rough terrain or lock out the front and rear Fox suspension on the smooth stuff with Scott’s TwinLoc remote, which allows simultaneous, on-the-fly control of the 120mm travel at the flip of a switch. For the ever-changing trail, spry Syncros XR 2.0 wheels carry your momentum, while tacky Schwalbe tires grip the trail for excellent control. And, the 22-speed Shimano XT group spec’d on this rig ensures your braking is just as smooth as the dialed, crisp shifts.

Spark Adjustable Geometry

By switching a shock mount "chip" in the linkage, the bottom bracket height is raised or lowered by 7mm and the head tube angle is steepened or slackened by 0.5 degrees.

Twinloc Remote

Scott's TwinLoc remote suspension lockout system allows the rider to choose between full travel (120mm), Traction mode (85mm), or locked out. This ingenious lever controls both the front and rear suspension, reducing handlebar clutter and increasing convenience.

 

Integrated Molding Process

During Scott's Integrated Molding Process (IMP), the top/head/down-tube section is produced in a single step, which ensures the lightest weight by removing all unnecessary material. The front end is then joined to the rear triangle creating a frame that's incredibly light and efficient. 

IDS SL Dropouts

Switch between wheelsets with different rear hub configurations quickly and easily! Scott's IDS-SL dropout system works with 142x12mm, 135x12mm and 135x5mm QR rear axle standards.
