I have been mountain biking with my family for over 25 years and this is the first bike that I really love. It handles beautifully on the trail with quick response to changing conditions. It is very stable, with it's smooth breaking system and tire tread configuration. It rolls over rocks and logs that I would not have attempted on my previous bike. With the Lush SL I have renewed my love of mountain biking and hope to keep up with my adult kids who have long since passed me up on the trails! It has brought me renewed confidence. Great bike; thanks, Trek!
My dream bike became a reality with the Lush SL. I came from a cheap hardtail (which is heavier than this full suspension!) and it's a night and day difference. I'm quicker on descents, more grounded in corners, and overall a happier rider. As a small (5'3") female rider with most of my height in my legs, the geometry is spot on. This bike is a fantastic value and as I said in the title, a lush ride! As a final note, even though it isn't that big of a deal, I love how it's a black frame. I know it's a women's geometry, I don't need pink and purple to let people know that.
